Has phone support for SONAR been discontinued?

I've not seen any phone slots available for nearly a year, anyway, but now it looks like the phone support option has been quietly removed from the support page. Only email support is available. Is everyone else seeing the same thing?

It certainly looks as though it's gone. Probably for the best. It seemed a bit disengenuous to have people trying for months and complaining that they couldn't get a slot.

I got it, pwalpwal, I'm just shocked. Supposedly more people were being hired and the backlog was nearly cleared etc., and now they quietly eliminate phone support altogether? I have never called them nor was I likely too, but I continue to be surprised by the changing plans and lack of communication.

I shared feedback that were responses to my post here http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3562347  with some folks internally.

We made it so it doesn't show the Phone Support option unless call slots are actually available. That way people don't go through several steps just to be told to email support at the end of the process if slots weren't available for booking.

Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me. There's phone support, or there isn't. How can a company say phone support is available only when it's available.

Come on guys, it sounds like Trump logic.

That actually makes sense if you think about it. Thanks for sharing. It's still a shame there are (apparently) so few phone slots available.

I'm glad Ryan explained it, but the auto-hide option is deceptive. I would rather see the phone option displayed, but disabled with messaging like "All of our agents are booked," without the additional steps that were formerly required.

It just seems like Cakewalk doesn't want to offer phone support, but they want to be able to say they do.
