Sonar Utilities

I was just checking out the sticky thread in the Cakewalk/Software forum and astounded at how it's grown.

It started as a small effort to collect the support work that folks had done in one place.

To look at it now makes me think it should be compulsory reading for all forum members.

Give it a look and support the efforts of all the peeps who had a hand in creating the various programs and utilities hosted there.

Hi. It has grown immensely the last years.
I think it should be a sticky on the front page along with
    https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Troubleshooting.01.html#1295824
    All the best.

Another thread pointed me to that list of utilities while pointing specifically to VSTInventory (by forum member Bitflipper). What a useful utility. I can confirm it works in Windows 10 64 bit (understandably for a free program, the PDF documentation apparently has not been updated since Win10 came out).

I agree that a sticky in the top section of the Sonar Forum would be a good place for the link to Sonar utilities. Links to Sonar Troubleshooting page and also to the Reference Manual content would also be appropriate (and to the eZine past issues and the new version when it arrives). All these could be combined into a single Sonar Forum sticky. As a marketing tool (and a way to hypothetically reduce the simpler demands on support services), the bakers (or an enterprising user) could produce a YouTube video showing off examples of how using these resources solved various user problems.

Meanwhile, it is a good reminder for me to regularly schedule time to look at the other forum topic areas, as content and topics change over time.

Sonar Platinum lifetime plan, i7-4930k 3.4 GHx, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD system drive, Dell 2560x1600 monitor, Windows 10 64bit, Edirol UA-101, Nektar LX88+.
