CA-2A plug-in drops out intermittently

Starting a week ago, any tracks that I use CA-2A have a problem.  The output for that track will cut out completely for a second or two every 10 seconds or so.  It's not a repeatable pattern.  I have used the plug-in successfully for months without issue.  I believe I may have done a Windows 7 update a little while back.. can't remember for sure.  I tried updating Sonar.  I tried reinstalling the plug-in.  Problem persists.  I don't have issues with any other plug-in.   Ideas?
