Make sure you have all the software up to date. What version of Sonar or other Host are you on? You can start Sonar in "safe mode" by holding down shift when you open the project and select no when it asks to load Rapture.  Once the project is open you may need to try to delete the synth and re-insert it.

That looks like an Access Violation.  Maybe try installing again from Command Center, where you launch Command Center by right-clicking on it and explicitly clicking on Run As Administrator?

You could also then try launching the stand-alone Rapture Session with Run As Administrator, to see if it works outside of Sonar.

The other thing that pops into my mind is perhaps some download or install interference with antivirus software, so you might try temporarily disabling your antivirus software to install it again - the downloaded files would have been scanned during the download.

Then again - I have had AVG interfere with a download in the past, so it is possible it is happening in the download for you, sorry that's all that pops into my head at the moment.

Hey John, hows it goin man.
Hey when was your last C++ update ? Exception code points to C++ anyway.
Im guessing it could be a missing update from either C++ or visual. try updating the lib's/

It's usually quite beneficial to list your system specs in your forum profile's Signature section - so when others are trying to help figure out issues we/they have a sense of what kind of setup you have.

You can look at my signature at the bottom of this post, or others for guidance - you would edit your profile in the control panel for your forum profile - make sure to check the box to tell the forum software to always add your signature to your posts. :)

it's strange, i always see one of the first suggestions to fix various things is make sure windows is up to date and all the c++ stuff etc, until recently i had remained on version 1511 of windows 10 (around 9 months old) on all my machines and never had a problem. recently(ish) i let them update to the anniversary edition, then turned updates off again so i am not up to date by any means, and again i don't see the issue referred to in this thread, so there must be something else, some other variable also at play as well, because if it is just being up to date with c++ and windows etc, then i should be seeing these issues? not sure i understand, but i have never kept windows (any version) up to date, most of the time many months, (perhaps a year or more) behind and have had no issues
