Softube Console 1 - any triers?

I had one delivered a few days back.  It is pretty cool.  There is a channel strip overlay that can be turned on or off.   It has expander, eq, compressor, pan and volume controls.  There is a stock set of the strip components, but it can also access a bunch of the UAD eq, compressors,...

Any users?  Thoughts?

If possible, I would like to see the graphics work on the eq for say the UAD Helios like it does on the Console 1 stock eq.  Then again, we are supposed to be using our ears, no?

Its small footprint is great, but reading some of the functions is tough.

Hi. As Ham N Egz says, I love my Console1. Can't imagine being without it for even a day. I love the integration with SONAR.
I agree that it would be cool to have visual representation of the UAD EQ's.
But as you say, i makes you use your ears more. I don't mind (much ) having it this way for now.
Remember that this is the first release to include UAD support, so maybe we'll get it at a later date..
My guess is that we will
If I can be of any help, just ask
    All the best.

It also have the Console1 graphics stretched to cover the entire screen when open. Drag from lower left corner.
It has 3 (or 4) different "states" it can show as well, if interested.
    Edited for spelling..

Yeah Zargg I agree - and I would add that the eq section is about as good as any I have tried.

I would just like to be able to take say a Harrison eq and a LA2A compressor and make my own channel strip and have the controls have visual feedback like the SSL strip does.  Being able to include a transient shaper would be a nice touch as well.

All in all, I give it a solid 9+/10 so far.

You can save whatever combination of plugins as a "User Preset".
I've only made a few so far, as it is so easy to make necessary adjustments wherever needed
(as of now, I'm down to half a minute (or so) per track..
The visual feedback, will (in my mid) come for the plugins that needs it.
Cannot imagine how a Pultech EQ would be visually describe though...
We're only on the first release that supports other than Softube plugins.
If they only did Waves next, I would be thrilled
Edit: I LOVE the transient shaper that's included with it!
