SOLVED: 2017.3 Opening Avenger Soft synth puts 18 tracks in folder

I think I've found a bug. When putting Avenger into a project, I get 18 tracks deposited into the folder. I've never seen this before, so I think it's got to be related 2017.3. If you delete all but the one MIDI track and one Aux track, you're good to go. It appears that SPlat is opening four Aux Stereo tracks, twelve drum tracks, one MIDI track and one other regular (summed?) track. It's odd.

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

    Hi outland144k,

Can you roll back to 2017.02 please and let us know if it continues?  It doesn't sound like any area the developers were working in for 2017.03.  It sounds more like the synth option properties you can select when inserting soft synths (i.e. create one track or multiple tracks per output).

    Thanks,
    Jim

I hear what you're saying, but 1) Avenger did not do this under 2017.2. Would the synth options change by themselves with the Early Access? 2) No other soft synth I used last night reacted in any similar way. (It might be interesting to see if Kontakt does something like this; I didn't use it last night, however.)

I'm at work now, but I'll rollback when I get home tonight and let you know.

Thanks.  If rollback to .02 fixes it, please also roll forward again to .03 to confirm it still comes back.

    Thanks,

I just did what you asked, Jim. At first, 2017.2 opened 18 tracks like Early Access. I checked the synth options and the "All Synth Audio Options" box was checked. When I checked "Simple Instrument Track", I got the only that. When I switched back to Early Access, strangely I still got the simple instrument track.

So, I'm confused. I don't why Early Access changed the settings (I'm assuming that's what it did, as I did not check them yesterday) before and it doesn't now. I'm glad it's not, but it's weird. So, I guess there's no problem now (though I'm clueless as to how/why it disappeared.)

Anyway, thanks for the work you bakers do all the time. It's really great.
