Soft Synth Pitch Drifting

Along with Sonar Pro on a a 64bit machine, I still run Sonar 8.5 on a 32bit. Mostly because I have old plugs and I have a better soft synth work flow that way. Now my soft synths tend to drift out of pitch on the old machine. I'm not having any luck finding this problem on searches. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

    I am running them 34 bit on a Windows 10 64bit machine. Sonar 8.5 is 34bit and it's been working well until recently with this pitch drift thing.

    Could you explain a bit more how and when the pitch drifts?
    Do all your 32-bit plugs drift in tandem on one project?

    I'll be playing a part but it's all out of tune. I try to tune my synth with a strobe but it's all over the place. It just won't stay stable and it's all instruments.

    Seems like I read somewhere about a similar problem that turned out to be a glitchy pitch bend wheel on the controller keyboard. It wouldn't stay centered. I'd look for spurious events in the event list just to be sure that's not happening.

    That actually seems to be what happening. I'll check events. I need to lookat limiting controller events.
