Help: Audio (wav) not importing after reinstall X2a

Using Either the File>Import>Audio... or context menu directly on the audio track, I can't get audio to import onto an audio track.
After the dialog box to select the WAV clip, the track remains empty.

Note: I recently reinstalled everything due to a boot drive replacement, though I don't think that should matter.
Any help appreciated. Thanks!

My guess is the files are importing correctly way down the timeline. You may notice ellipses in the track. If this is the case, disable "Always Import Broadcast Waves at Their Timestamp" in Preferences > File > Audio Data.

Thanks, I woulda never figured that out, I'm using the same process as I always do and that's never happened. I had also just tried it with the demo for SONAR PLATINUM, and it worked as usual, prior to seeing your reply.

Always Import Broadcast Waves at Their Timestamp is the default setting. The question is a common one. What I find curious is some loop manufacturers create their content using broadcast wav files instead of plain wav files.
