Side-chaining trouble when soloing tracks / Buses?

Hello Sonarites!

I'm having trouble lately to tweak my sidechains... I sometimes solo the required tracks only to listen to sidechain source and how it'll impact the "destination" track or bus.

Lately, when soloing, side-chain sources signals seems to be muted... sends are pre faders and other checkups are done and it should be working IMO.

Difficulties using SONAR'S strock side-chainable plugins as third parties (waves C6...)

Anyone else having this issue or is it a operator's mistake again? Using SPLAT 2017.02.

thanks.

I'm not seeing a problem here. You'll need to provide some detail on the routing. Is the sidechain plugin on a bus or a track, and are all related tracks soloed along with the side-chain source? Are all tracks recorded audio or is any synth audio involved? Does the plugin show you the sidechain input signal or are you judging whether the signal is present based on the output of the track/bus?

    Hi!

It seems like something is weird regarding SOLO buttons... Sonar behaves strangely when I'm clicking the SOLO buttons on the TV, CV, Inspector and even the solo buttons on Plugins GUI!

    Example:

When first soloing a track in "view #1" and then un-soloing it in "view #2" (for me it is the plugin window) sometimes the "other tracks" are not going back to an "audible" state. Sometimes, there is even complete silence during playback. Seems to impact instrument tracks for me so far, but since I am rarely using those (I'm an independent Audio / Midi tracks kind of guy) I am pretty sure that I could reproduce this with other track types... I'll try again soon.

Anybody else noticed something like this?
