Another good source of acoustics information

I just ran across this guy's YouTube channel while researching another topic (cardioid subwoofer setup). I had to share this great find. There is just loads of good, accessible information here. I'd categorize most of it as "intermediate-level", by which I mean it helps if you're already conversant in the subject but you don't want to have to use a calculator to understand the lessons. But don't be intimidated if you're completely new to acoustics. If you happen to pick a video that flies over your head, just skip to the next one and come back to it.

He also has a free e-book, but I haven't checked that out yet. I plan to. So what's his angle? Like our favorite fiberglass salesman Ethan Winer, Dennis Foley is an acoustician who believes the more people know about the subject the more likely they are to buy his products and consulting services. Like Ethan, he's plain-speaking and down-to-earth and doesn't sound like a bored college professor, and like Ethan he is more than happy to show you how to make your own DIY treatments.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

But, like Ethan, does he offer a free online video in which he hired a stripper to get nekkid?

P.S. Bet this posts fires off a few unanticipated google sessions.

I remember that video. I had to watch it a few times for the information to sink in.

And without a doubt, every eighteen-year-old male on the planet does the honorable thing and moves on to another pursuit.

Edit: I did, of course, mean to say "under-eighteen-year-old male".  Duh!
