Sonar Artist + Melodyne Demo
A friend of mine has bought a copy of Sonar Artist. On cakewalk's website, it says that Sonar Artist comes with Melodyne Demo. However it was not installed and there is no option for it in the Command Centre. We have tried looking in both Connected Products and Demo Products - but it's not listed at all in Command Centre. Can anyone shed any light on where Melodyne Demo is? Thanks, ~ Tony

Cakewalk's website states that Melodyne Demo is included with Sonar Artist - not a separate install. https://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR/Versions If someone is not very computer literate, this can be confusing. Is the recommendation to install the demo by downloading it direct from Celemony?

tonydude If someone is not very computer literate, this can be confusing. There is always something to complain about now isn't there It always has been a separate install even on platinum versions (still is). The recommendation is to install using Command center. I believe you can also open Artist / Melodyne in sonar and it will prompt you with a download message.

I have a copy of Sonar Platinum and Melodyne Essential was installed as part of Sonar itself. However my friend has a copy of Sonar Artist which is advertised by Cakewalk as having Melodyne Essential Demo, but it was not installed and is not available in the Command Centre.
Yes this is minor, but it helps give a good impression if the website is a little clearer.

I know this thread is a few months old, but still relevant to some of us. I also see zero anything about Melodyne with SONAR Artist. There is no demo to be seen within SONAR itself nor in Command Center. As mentioned previously it states at https://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR/Versions that there is a demo included with Artist. chuckebaby The recommendation is to install using Command center. Command Center doesn't offer it, and I see no way to open it in Artist to get a download message.

When I click the Rewire button nothing happens. The panel is blank, nothing is there to use. :-\

This is how Command center works. You need to redeem before it will show up. Melodyne uses ARA integration in Sonar Artist but its only a demo version. Go here and enter the redemption code that came with your purchase: https://www.cakewalk.com/redeem

hmmmm... I have no record of anything related to a redemption code when I purchased Artist. And I've kept every email from Cakewalk/Cleverbridge since the start. Missed something somewhere along the way...

So how can I get Melodyne? What do I need to do?

I would contact Cleverbridge and explain your situation. You could also go back through past emails you got when you made your purchase there should be a redemption code included and it might be something that you easily missed like "Sonar artist". More often than not the demo versions redemption codes are corny and not some encrypted code.
