Dimension Pro Question

HI All
I guess this question must have been asked before but I cant find the answer.

How do I assign different instruments in Dim Pro to different tracks of a midi file.
I am getting the same sound in all tracks which is no good.

Thanks
Alan

The mutlitimbral mode in DPro is pretty limited. Here is a recent thread about the multitimbral mode in DPro http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3574168

Many instances of DP is probably best way to go - then you get multiple outs as well.
Multitimbral is only for four midi channels as I recall - one stereo out still.

Don't know if Rapture Pro allow something like multi-timbre approach?
RP can do DP libraries as well.

DPro, Rapture and RPro all provide a similar multitimbral setup.

Yes, use a more instances of Dim pro for different synth sounds.  I often strip down Dim (or Rap pro which I use now instead of the other synths) to a single voice or two to get just the sound I need.
