Images can be added but they need to have a URL. Create a Photobucket account, save your image there, copy the image URL and use that when you select the Insert/Edit Image icon from this forum.

I just click on the image when in "Images view" (hover over username, and click images). It then opens in front of the page with these links.

imgur is what I use now.
I used to favour Photobucket until it got bogged down with adverts
