I've been in Studio One land quite a bit lately. The only real differences I've noticed is that the PreSonus site is easier to navigate, S1 still hasn't crashed or done anything to surprise me and their forums are not nearly as chatty as Cake's.
It's too bad about the things that Studio One lacks that SONAR has. I have a list of about a dozen things (guessing, it's not written down) that if borrowed from SONAR, would make S1 a serious kick-ass DAW. Even with these short-comings, I'm finding I can get something new started and get stuff laid out much more quickly in S1.
No, I haven't bailed on SONAR ... I'm just performing due diligence with my new toy.
