More Newbie Questions (sorry)

Hi,
Can someone tell me how remove markers I've made in the top timeline? The help section says there is a "-" symbol you click in the Markers module, but I swear I can't find it.

Also, I guess it's a joint question:
1. When I try and select clips in the main edit window, if there was any previous crossfading done, it either only selects the clips that start on the 1, or just the ones that overlap. I can't remember. So It makes selecting what I want to move around rather cumbersome.

2. Another thing is, after I have copied a selection, I want to "Insert" the copied section at another point in the timeline, "pushing" the rest of the entire sequence to the right of the insert point? And... NOT JUST ONE CLIP, BUT THE ENTIER SEQUENCE. Keeping the contents and timing of everything else unchanged, just moved down the line, so to speak?

I'm coming from using a Roland MV-8800 sampler, where it had a copy mode called "Copy and Insert". Where you chose a point/measure where you wanted the copied section to go and it "inserted" it in the sequence, moving everything to the right.

Am I just going about it the wrong way?
Thanks to everyone again!

There are 3 choices for pasting when you copy / paste

    Copy the clip
Right click where you want it to go/ "paste special" / advanced you'll see 3 ways to paste plus a lot of other options to do the task.
Weird things can happen and this action in Sonar can be a little buggy. Just trying to insert can result in all the clips to the right becoming scattered and out of sync.
So my work around is to plant the "now time on the measure line ( use Snap to grid)  and "Select All" right click  and split the whole song.  I have my option set to highlight to the right of split points.  Now I drag the right split out of harms way. Now I'll copy/ paste the part and then drag the right hand part back to line it up.

I find answering these question teaches me more about Sonar than any other method. It makes me look and find things I might not otherwise have tried or known about.

    So many great replies!
Thank you everyone! I will start implementing your tips asap!
I have a busy day today with non-musical stuff. Though it does look like I might be picking up a new Akai MPK261 midi controller today! Yay!
Have a great musical day everyone!
