Help with Cakewalk and Sonar LE

Someone suggested that I go to Edit > Preferences to the Audio section and choose input and output drivers. But this is wrong, there is no "Preferences to Audio section" in Edit in my Sonar LE.  See my problem in the following.

In Cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2005260/Audio-Tutorial-setup-Record-Playback

Where it says "Let's set-up a track for recording digital audio:"

"3.In the track's Output field, click the dropdown arrow and select an audio output from the menu. You will usually choose 1 & 2, because these are most commonly the outputs that speakers or audio monitors are connected to.
4.In the track's Input field, choose the audio input that your instrument or microphone is connected to. If you would like to record a stereo track select "stereo". Some audio interfaces refer to their stereo inputs as pairs, like 1/2, 3/4 or 5/6. Most often left channels are represented by odd numbers and the right ones are represented by even numbers."

For number 3, In my Sonar LE program, in the track's output field, when I click the dropdown arrow near where it says EDIROL UA-25 UA-25 WAV, a short list saying the words ...None... and New Stereo Bus comes up in a drop box. There is no menu for me to select anything else.

For number 4, in the track's input field it says the word ...none..., and when I click it the drop box says the word None with a tick next to it, and underneath it it says EDIROL UA-25 (1 in, 1 out). There is no menu for me to select anything else.

Someone suggested that I go to Edit > Preferences to the Audio section and choose input and output drivers. But this is wrong, there is no "Preferences to Audio section" in Edit.

Is there anyone out there who can help me with this? I'd really appreciate it.

The name of the section is not "Preferences to the Audio", it's plain "Preferences". In older versions, IIRC, it's called
"Options". When you get there, you click "Audio".

Be aware that the help files are made for the 3 main Sonars versions and not user friendly for Home Studio and LE users. You have to know what features you DON"T have as well as many menu items are missing from the lower versions.

But Audio set up is the same on all versions. First make sure you install the latest ASIO drivers for the Roland interface. Make sure you get the ones that match your OS.

Then go to Preferences  and select ASIO as the driver mode.
Now make sure all the input and outputs are checked. Go through all the Preference Tabs and make sure everything is correct.
