[Solved] Bouncing Audio Clip Makes Clip Silent!
SPLAT 2016.12
1. Clip a section to slip stretch.
2. Bounce section.
3. Clip is silent even though wave form is still there.
4. Bounce clip again and it flatlines.
5. Sonar crashes and asks me to send a report.
Subsequent attempts to reopen Sonar result in it crashing before it even opens.
Reboot computer.
1. Clear Picture cache
2. Open Sonar
3. Repeat steps above with same results.
Something is definitely wrong with Bounce To Clips in 2016.12. Current workaround is to use Apply Trimming instead, tho bouncing the section back with the rest of the clip is out until this is fixed. Clip remains in it's stretched state.

Check your Take Lanes. One's probably muted.

Thanks soens.
Don't know why splitting a clip would create a 2nd Take Lane but that's what happened.
Not sure why it was crashing though.
