Reverie

This is a song I've been working on that I recently decided to re-record. If anyone has any feedback, I'd be happy to hear it. I'd like to put it on my youtube page, but I want to make sure it sounds good before I do.

    Hi Chandler,

Nice playing... Lot's delay, which I always love. Nice tones too.

As an instrumental this works for me

I'm not best qualified to comment on mix and what have you, but I think it sounds absolutely fine.

    cheers

Very nice playing and tone Chandler.  Pretty good mix too.  Could maybe benefit from a high pass, as I was getting just a bit of low end rumble.  Nice tune though.

Nice track quite enjoyed the playing, mix is not bad though some of the bass notes sound as if they wallow a little.

    Thanks for sharing.

I liked that green strat with the maple neck! I always wanted a guitar like that.

the tune is cool and way laid back! very tasteful and great playing with feel.

Mix-wise, everything seems very decent, but the bass I think could use more attack on the notes. If you are compressing, try setting the attack to allow more time before compressor clamps down. Or, try the opposite! :) bass has a pillowy quality, which isn't bad for this kind of song, really. It's not a featured instrument in this, it's just supporting things down undah.

You might bust out a transient shaper to give the bass notes even more attack?

    cheers,
    -Tom

Very nice instrumental, and your playing is well done. Nice use of reverb and delay to accent things. Bass could use a little tightening up, but I really don't think it's a deal killer. I'm not hearing any muddy buildup...

Listening to this on my surface pro 4 as I go through the painful reinstall process. The mix sounds nice on these crappy speakers  so you are not too far off the mark, but the tweak to the bass may well be needed on better sound systems.
Great guitar playing and I enjoyed the track.

Yeah... I liked that.    Between the delay + reverb and the guitar lines themselves, there's a cool vibe happening.  Nice dynamics in your playing too, loved those sweet bends...
