Hmmmm so this is the end of the line for Sonar on a MAC.   I am sorry this was a failed attempt as I was looking forward to this.

Well, it looks that (so far) I was right when I kept saying over the years that SONAR would NEVER be a Mac product.

You're welcome.

So will we now lose all the MacHeads that stuck around/held out as they move to Logic?

Don't matter to probably 99% of us long time Cake users.
Maybe it was that annoying  fact that just like NMS10 are in every picture of a studio meter bridge,  that in every video on how to use a plug in or a DAW related product it is always demo'd on a Mac.
I think it's cool that Sonar is so deeply embedded in  Widows that it didn't port over nicely. It's only Logical is it not.

Sonar should have probably been ported to Mac many years ago when Mac still had something going for it. Mac is now a nearly dead horse, so it's a bit late to be trying now anyway. Yeah, I'm an Apple hater. Port it to Linux instead! Seriously, concentrating on one platform is always going to be 100% better for that software on that platform. The only way to do it would consume far too much time and money developing a multi-platform framework, so you develop once, but spend all your time constantly updating/maintaining the framework.

A happy little place by comparison. I do confess to heading straight for the giant inevitable train wreck for an update with my morning coffee though.
