Please help me change my forum email

How can I get my email address changed for these forums?  When I go to my control panel and use the "Update Email" button, I fill out the required info but it always spits out a message that the change failed.

Why???  Why does it fail?

I did successfully get my address changed for other Cakewalk communication, but I'm still getting forum notifications at the address where I no longer want to get them.

REALLY need my forum address to change.  Can one of the admins message me to help?

Thank you!

Try contacting Cakewalk directly. The only place I know of to manage the email address is https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Manage

I did that some time ago, and that page shows my correct email.
BUT... my forum profile shows my incorrect email, and I can't change it.

Is there no one here who has the ability to make changes to forum accounts?

Only Cakewalk employees. You could PM one of the staff, I would suggest Ryan Munnis, Seth Kellogg or Willy Jones for this issue.

Easier said than done, lol.  Poked around all the corners I can find, but can't find them to send a message.

Here are a couple of ways:
Hover over a user name in a post or in the member list in the Menu in the upper right of this forum to get this menu

or use the PMs menu at the top of the forum, there is a member search function in the PM form.

Both Ryan and Willy have sticky threads and everyone is in the member list.

The only Ryan I can find in the member list: http://forum.cakewalk.com/Profile/275/
The only Seth I can find in the member list: http://forum.cakewalk.com/Profile/23606/
The only Willy I can find in the member list: http://forum.cakewalk.com/Profile/160345/
None of the above have any posts (except Seth, who has one in 2006 and hasn't been logged in since April 2006), nor do they have a way to message them.

However, you did point out the sticky threads, and I do see them there.  But for the record, that's the ONLY place they seem accessible.  My thanks to whomever invented the concept of sticky threads, lol.

All three bubble to the top of the member list when using the member list search with additional options:
    1) select the first letter of their first name
    2) enter their first name
    3) click search (either search button will work here)

Never noticed the tiny "Additional Options" link that's not open by default.  I did see the alphabet with a search field for Username, which should work just the same.  Input a name, click "Search", and bam.  But I know you didn't code the forum software, so it's not on you.  Speaking as a former 18-year career web designer, I'm surprised the coders/designers didn't make those additional options display automatically, or at least have the default field do a better search.  It's not very intuitive.

AFAIK, there is no training on the forum software. Everything I posted here, I had to figure out for myself.

I would try the same thing again using a different browser.

I was able to contact Ryan, and he changed my email for me.  All is well again in my world.  ...well that part, anyway.

I'm having the same issue.  I created a PM for Ryan and tried to send it.  I got a message that the PM was sent successfully, however, when I look at my PM's I see a "0" for number of PM's sent.  I need assistance.
