No VST managing after the Early Access Program #4 update

I updated to the EAP4/2017 and haven't been able to rescan my VST's since.

When I go to the plug in manager and try to rescan, there are some arbitrary new folders included (like c:\msi) and I can't get rid of them by "removing" them --- they just persist and come back no matter what I do.

If I go to File > Preferences > VST plug ins and remove the extra ones, they show back up when I click on "Apply".

The VST rescan ends with an error message while it attempts to go through those extra folders.

    Hi Jyri T.,

We haven't been able to reproduce this issue and don't have any other reports of this in the .04 Early Access feedback or from our Beta Team.  Additionally development didn't make any changes in this area for .04, so it seems unrelated and maybe coincidental to some other change.

I'd suggest rolling back first to .03 to see if that helps.  Again though, I don't think it's related so that may not resolve it.  At that point I'd suggest contacting Technical Support directly here: http://www.cakewalk.com/Support#Contact  .  I've forwarded this thread to the support team as a heads up on your situation, assuming the rollback does not resolve it.

    Thank you,
    Jim

    Hey, thanks!

Updated to the official 04 and still the same. Probably coincidental.
    Will contact the support soon.
