moving all clips / tracks (and their events) backwards.

Hi guys. Can't remember how to simply select all tracks (and events in them + markers etc.. and move them back towards the start, I've got 4 bars of nothing and all I want to do is move the material I have back... Not sure to cut the start or move the project back..

any help would be much appreciated.

I think if you just select all clips, create a group - then drag the group to your desired location, that should do the trick.  Although that won't do markers though - those I always just edit manually via view->markers.

There is no denying his idea is a great one. That's why I bookmarked it.

Ok I've still got the problem, when I try to move the tracks back a blue line comes up at the 1.00.00 bar and prevents me from moving my clips back... don't know what that is all about...

select-all then move it to the right & again select all then move your clips to the left.
