eta, unless it's an early access release where the bug is apparent, then post in http://forum.cakewalk.com/Problem-Reports-f77.aspx

ok great, thank you.   This however does allow other users to see it and state they also are reporting the same issue.  Plus cakewalk never responds to the Problem Reporter.

Why not report it right here?

The page you linked to does not have Cakewalk by Bandlab as a product.  It only has L-Phase Equalizer and L-Phase Multiband.

I had a concern this kind of thing might happen.

Anyway just in case someone from tech support happens to read this (rather than getting a generated email - which, now, they won't):

Just had a weird issue.  I am working on a long project.  I needed to shift everyting from a certain point two quarter notes forward.  I then copied and pasted from just bother the gap into the gap and tried to change the pitches of some notes.

It treated both notes as one event.  So I have note before the bar line.  Then a note after it.  I want to change the second one.  I do this and Cakewalk changes the second and the first even though only the second was selected.  I deleted the first and the second was deleted too.  Ctrl-Z!  I deleted both and tried to enter again.  Two notes appeared each time I tried to enter one!

OK crank up event list.  Same thing there.  Never seen this before.  And to repeat it is annoying that there is no proper place to report this.

Just wasted a lot of time.

I paid for Sonar Platinum by the way and over the years updated it.  Oh well.  'Market forces'.

Platinum development stopped when Gibson shutdown Cakewalk in Nov 2017.

In 2018 BandLab purchase Cakewalk IP from Gibson and released a new DAW called Cakewalk by BandLab based on SONAR Platinum. The upgrade to CbB is free. Use the BandLab Assistant install instructions. Use the same email address as your Cakewalk account when creating your BandLab account. CbB support information is here.

Sounds like both notes come from two different clips that are LINKED.

If you find the clip with one of the notes, right-click on it. Do you see Siblings available? Try to Unlink it then.

Re support link mentioned, I think it's old Gibson one, it's no more valid. Bandlab has a new one now but I can't remember now. Let me try find it or maybe someone chimes in with it hopefully in the meantime.
