I think you need to give some more details on how you are setting this up.

I don't know the keyboard but I'm guessing you are connecting the USB to the computer and that is just transmitting midi information and not audio.

One remark... Korg Taktile is a midi controller keyboard. Korg Triton Taktile has a built-in synth. So, if you indeed have a Korg Triton Taktile, karhide's suggestion is correct. If not, there will never be any sound coming out of the Korg Taktile 25.

Hi. If you are using it as a MIDI device, you will need to route your MIDI track to a Soft synth.
Make sure it is set as input device (Preferences (P) MIDI, Devices).
    Hope it helps.
    All the best.

    hi All,
Thanks for replies so far. It's the Korg Taktile-25 (the wee brother of the Korg Triton) I have and using with the Sonar X1 EL programme. When the Korg is connected in the first instance, the  synth driver is automatically installed. I have followed the instruction in the Korg manual and assigned the ports as directed. All the signs in Sonar indicate that it's recognised the Korg. I was under the impression that having carried out the instructions, that I would be able to play  and hear the Korg through the Sonar programme outputs? I just don't have a scoobie about what to try now
    Thanks All

According to the Korg web site, the Taktile is a controller and makes no sound of it's own. You need to Insert a soft synth and direct the output of the MIDI track the Korg's using to that synth.
