Deleting CCC Download (setup) files

I'm pretty sure this is okay to do, but thought I would ask before doing it.
Is it okay to delete all the setup files in the Download directory for CCC?
I realized they are taking up an awful lot of space on my hard drive and was thinking of either deleting them or archiving them to an external backup drive.
Thanks!

Thanks scook.  I DID do a couple of searches before I posted ("deleting setup files for CCC") but they came up empty.
Anyway thanks, my SSD just gained about 15% more space. Woo Hoo!

What I would do if configure CCC paths so that new downloads go to a drive and folder other than your system drive.  Also, once you've done this you can also move the existing downloads into that folder.

It probably pays to keep the latest versions of the install files stored locally - unless you have a 100mbit/s internet connection, then you can just download as needed..

I just moved them to one of my external hard drives. (I have 4, ranging from 2 to 4 TB each)
I don't keep them connected to my computer unless I'm backing up files or drives, or accessing a large file, like a video or music.  It only takes losing your data once (from a corrupt drive or virus) to appreciate the monthly ritual of backing up EVERYTHING!
