Typical of setup day at a guitar show trading among the vendors was fast and furious! My buddy Billy is holding a '60 3/4 neck LP Jr I scored. I've always had a "soft spot" for the double cut juniors; I'm in lurve again. Had to let a '71 Marshall 50, and '67 EB-2 go, but hey, that's what the show is all about! Stay tuned... T

Just drove by the Tacoma Dome twice on Thursday (going to Seattle and back). That's enough for a while!
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Where's the "amps" in Deering amps? I see only guitars.

"Where's the "amps" in Deering amps? I see only guitars." Good question! Just through the door behind the ES-339, in the Amp (read that LOUD) room. Last year the whole booth was in there. The pedal guys "noodled" ALL DAY LONG; I'm SHOUTING because my ears were bleeding! This year the amps are in the amp room, and I'm talking to customers on the main floor. Sold a '75 HIWATT DR-103 today. Man could that boy play LOUD & CLEAN; really have to push it to get it breaking up. Stay tuned... T

Alright, alright; here's the amps Should have got a pic before the Marshall and Hiwatt sold Here's an update on the guitars Last year when everything was in the LOUD room; ouch! My ears are still bleeding! What is it with pedal builders, they "noodle" endlessly, even when no one is around (except me) to hear them.

I'm going 5 watt, I'm tired of wrestling with 100 watt heads and 50 watt combos. That THD Bi-Valve weighs about a ton and a half! I'm sooo glad the HIWATT DR103 found a home, those partridge trannies are an f'ing beast. Even my 15 watt Soul Mate, at 28 pounds, is just about all I want to fuss with. T

Those Univalves are fun! I had a rare "Lefty" where everything was labelled backwards.

For some reason I've never liked the THD amps. Univalve, bivalve, meh. The concept is brilliant but for some reason I never found the tone to equal the concept. YMMV.
