Clip names from the Browers

If I create a midi clip and name it, and save it in the browsers. When I drag it to a track it loses it's name, and becomes Track #

However, if I take a factory created clipe from say the 'scales folder' the name is preserved.

What step that is staring me in the face, am I missing?

Thanks' it's usually just one step away. At least it doesn't feel a too obvious step.
