Controls not working in Akai MPK249

Hello all,
Very frustrated about the lack of ability to find any useful info online...

Basically, i managed to get some of the encoders and sliders to work after configuring the MPK as an ACT surface control - but not all of them and the transport controls don't work at all...although i did change the type to MIDI CC (and even to MMC) in the controller, as are both the faders and the encoders...
This is really annoying...:\
Any help will be appreciated.

    Check my site (see the signature). There is no ready to use MPK preset. I have made basic one 2 weeks ago on on user machine, but you can make your own (and publish it for other).
    Start with Startup preset, transport in MIDI CC mode, encoders in absolute. That will give you an idea.
     
    I am going to proceed with the preset, just unsure when.
