unable to delete aux/patch points from the send submenu

I am unable to delete aux/patch points from the send submenu.  Whenever I delete the sends, they still appear as assignable patches in sends menu, altjough the track itself (aux) is deleted.

    AFAIK Sonar should delete unused patch points by itself at a later stage ... did you try to close/reopen the project after "unrouting" everything that was routing to/from the patch point?
