Confused about update prices??

So, I decided I'd better have a look at what all these emails were about in regards to Sonar's updates...I just thought it was business as usual...I've been happy paying my 17 dollars a month and getting the updates, however, I just checked my account to do the whole renewal thing, and the price has gone from 17 dollars a month to 50 dollars huh.
 
Can someone explain how this could be?

    The monthly payment program continues until you cancel it. No action is needed on your part to "renew." I am pretty sure the rate will not change as long as you continue to make payments but if you have any questions contact Cakewalk Order support.
