forum issues and crashes

I have had to re-post a few times because I can not see my post turning up on the list... get server message saying the server is down. So my apologies if anyone sees more than one post from me as I can't see them myself.
here is my original post about crashes in sonar.
 
I load in Kontakt but soon as I press play, Sonar crashes, Kontakt works perfectly on its own, however. Also, the latest update does not seem to be available on my command center app. My PC has ample power to run any program perfectly and all of my drivers are up to date. Also, when I load a project, Kontakt sometimes won't play any samples... even though all the midi channels are connected correctly. I really need help here lol. I have heard mention of running in safe mode... how can I do this to see if it helps?

    WRT the forum, sometimes the automatic spam blocker removed posts and thread. This can happen when a post is created or edited. Also duplicate posts may get deleted.
     
    If the latest update 2017.04 is not showing up in the Command Center, you can try to force an update to the Command Center by clicking the gear in the upper right of the Command Center UI, then clicking the "Check Now" button on the settings page. Given when the update was released, you may want to review your status https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Membership. If everything looks OK and you still do not have the update contact support.
     
    I do not own Kontakt hopefully some one that does will comment about this issue. It might help if you could provide a little more information about the crash and your system configuration.
     
    To open a project in Safe Mode, hold the SHIFT key while opening the project.

    I have the latest version of Sonar and kontakt installed and use them every day with out issue.

    It would be worth giving more details of your machine, audio interface and operating system. Does it happen for every patch you load in kontakt?

    its been my experience that sometimes when Kontakt crashes or wont load at all,
    it is due to updates. Kontakt library's can be very graphic intensive (they are not World of warcraft or anything)
    but some of the library's GUI's are intricate/detailed.
     
    If you have run Sonar in Safe mode and have tracked your problem directly to Kontakt,
    I would start by making sure windows is up to date. That includes the visual lib's and C++.
     
    Another good way to test besides using Safe mode is to roll back to the previous version and compare.
