Audio Damage EOS 2 Update

Audio Damage has announced the release of Eos 2, a significant new version of the algorithmic reverb plug-in.
Eos 2 includes an all-new entirely procedural GUI (featuring full Retina and Windows HiRes compatibility), a new cross-platform preset mechanism, a new reverb algorithm, the addition of crossover controls, the addition of VST3 versions, and a ground-up rebuild for future-proofing.
Eos consists of four high-quality custom-designed reverb algorithms, made with the modern production environment in mind. Three different plate simulators and Audio Damage's own Superhall algorithm give you a broad palette of reverb, and the easy-to-understand interface makes adjusting the algorithms to suit your track incredibly simple.
Price: $59. Update from Eos 1: $10.

I know I should get this. Originally concocted by Sean Costello of Valhalla fame. Indeed famous infinite mode. Then again, somewhat obscure and non-responsive company.

EOS is a great reverb. My luck as always, it gets blacklisted on my XP computer.

I did the 10 dollar upgrade, let them know it failed and the refund was back in less than an hour. No demos of anything so they have a no questions refund if it doesn't work. No response yet to send whatever data they need to fix it.

Biggest things in the upgrade seem to be an additional plate sound and the reworked GUI. Stuck with EOS 1 for awhile, but should be happy with that.

You guys who got this too, did you receive a registration code? Also, what about this new GUI? Mine only shows one or two moving dots in the middle, not the cloud like shape I'm seeing in demo vids.

No reg code.  Supposedly it requires v1 to be installed, but I didn't test that since I already had v1 installed.

GUI seems fine, if a bit small. Only dots in the middle I see are parts of the shifting blob-like cloud. (Mine looks like the demo vids).

    FYI, latest version is 2.02.

This is what Chris Randall, the Eos developer just wrote in at GearSlutz:
"The background orb is an OpenGL shader; we're pushing the envelope a little on this UI. We're using all the tools available to determine the proper screen scaling, but due to the vagaries of OpenGL, a very few users are experiencing this mildly weird two-orb issue. (You're actually the second person I'm aware of that has had it.) It seems to happen on Retina Macs that are driving a non-retina monitor, so the OS is informing the plugin that it's a Retina system, but the graphics card is rendering it non-Retina. In any event, this is just a visual thing and has nothing to do with the operation of the plugin. That shader has zero to do with the sound of things; just eye candy."
I guess my MacBook problem is quite similar. MacBooks are not made for music purposes.
Meanwhile, my MacBook Pro (quad i7) has no prob at all, displaying that nice swirly blob :)
