I feel a bit hesitant to comment on your piece as it is so far out of my genre. It is interesting to hear the combination of sounds and textures you have here. If there was a recognizable theme with the noise elements acting intermittedly as a "hook" I think I could identify with it more easily. However, as you are the composer, those decisions belong to you. "Experimental" seems to be a fitting description of this track. The dark and cold feel and "Lobotomy" title evoke a horror film atmosphere, so if that is where you are aiming, you have hit the target IMO. It definately creates an unsettling mood, so great job with that... Ron

Definitely soundtrack material, the mix comes across as mostly OK here, though the drum/percussion track does get a little swamped in places and the kick gets vague as well, though that may well be intentional.

The obvious question is this loops or a combination of loops and synths?

I quite enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.

Boris, this is definitely different from your earlier works i.e. Psilocybin, Pregabalin, and Cyanide etc....a chemistry major? :) Experimental EDM might be what you're after here.....or a soundtrack to a movie or video game.

You're certainly a talented (classical?) pianist (5 Etudes). .....personally, I preferred stuff like "Please Tell me Why" which has a tangible melody and actually an excellent piece of music.

    Keep up the good work!!

Thank you both! ;) No loops involved, except the battery, which anyways I modified.
