    I guess I should have said a little more. Really just kind of wondering if this one is worth taking it up to a higher state, or is it just meh.... let it go?

    Definitely worth polishing this up Wayne, I can imagine the harmonies in there. I like the way the guitar break starts a little dark and ends up more positive. Cool song.

    I agree with James...this is definitely worth continuing. I think it will be a fine song when you are through.

    Though I am not a country music lover I would definitely continue polishing this track, as it has potential and I am with James as I can definitely see some harmonies fitting in well.

    Umm.... heck yeah!    It already has a strong foundation, so a little dressing up and she's finished.   
     
    FWIW, the rhythm guitars remind a little of Lay Down Sally.

    Alright. Thanks for the input! Sometimes I'm filled with self doubt, more on the lyrics and melody, and sometimes I know the simple thinks reach the farthest.

    Again not a country fan but this sounds like you should finish it off, will keep the furry ears open for the polished product.

    Again, thank you all for your input and encouragement on this one! I'm not really a country guy either, but in these parts if you want to work you play some. Guess it's rubbing off lol.
     
    I'll get back to this when I can. Right now I'm in writing mode. I'll stay there till I hit a dry spell.
