Reinstalling everything

After buying various versions of music creator and DLC and sonar x3 producer, sonar platinum and many addons I find that my vlc files are spread over multiple drives and I'm always getting errors when sonar starts. Every time I start sonar at the moment it has a database error.
To try to alleviate some of this I'm thinking of uninstalling all of the programs and reinstalling them. All were steam purchases. I don't want to lose any of my paid content. Any advice for install order?
Install will not be on C: drive.

This ought to help:

You shouldn't lose anything as long as you see it all in your Steam library with a blue INSTALL button for each program.

As for install order, I would start with the oldest and work my way forward to the latest.

Good luck.
