Audio Dropout after Idling

Good afternoon,

I am having some audio dropout issues when letting the computer idle while I track myself playing drums. This happens almost exactly at 4 minutes on the dot every time.

I have increased ASIO buffer sizes as well as the recording buffer sizes which has not helped. If I am recording someone else tracking and I can move the mouse around, this problem doesn't occur.

Is this a setting within Sonar, an "idle dropout" or is there something I can change in my windows 10 settings that is causing it to idle out?

Regards,
EJ

Take a look at your Windows power options.  Make sure that you do not have any power saving options kicking in.
