Can't recover old email to update Sonar Pro

Hi, I forgot my old email password that I registered Sonar Pro in, and now I don't have the serial number either.  Is there still a way I can update Sonar pro?

If you launch your current Sonar, then click on Help, and About Sonar, it will display the version and the serial number.
 
Write the version and serial number down.
 
I would normally tell you to send a private message to one of the Cakewalk staff members, but you don't yet have enough posts associated with this forum profile you are using, to be able to send or receive private messages.  I believe you need something like 15 or 20 posts, and you currently have only 2.
 
Does anybody else have a link this user can use to alert Cakewalk staff to his issue?  I remember there were quite a few folks having this kind of issue way back when the accounts all migrated, but I wasn't able to dig up a link with some quick checking just now.
 
I will circle back after dinner, and if nobody else has posted something to assist you, I will send a couple of the Cakewalk staff a private message on your behalf, and perhaps they can help you - keep in mind that it is the weekend, but many staffers pop in now and then off-hours so perhaps you might get assistance tonight or tomorrow - just don't be disappointed it if takes them til Monday or beyond to get back to you.

In the meantime - it would help if you were to get your post count up to maybe 20 or so, so that you can send and receive private messages.
 
There are lots of interesting threads in the Coffee House, and lots of folks post songs in the Songs forum, and they would welcome feedback on their tunes - (that's also a great place for YOU to post your songs - folks will give you feedback, which you can get some idea of how others perceive your efforts)

Hey Bob Bone I first off would like to tell you thanks for being so helpful.  I bought Sonar Pro back in 2015 it wasn't until Google wanted to consolidate all accounts into one, is when I lost my old gmail and had to get a new one.  
 
I tried the serial number on the registration page from my current version of Sonar Pro however, the cakewalk page is not liking my serial number.  I don't believe you can register the same serial number anyway, I'd have to recover my old cakewalk command center account which is registered in my old gmail.  I believe I have over 20 posts with that username.

Well, if you can take an hour or so and listen to some tunes and provide honest feedback, you can get some posts there - and the creators of those songs will have some additional feedback - win win situation.
 
Any posting in any of the forums will help - it won't take very much or very long to get enough posts to where you can get and send private messages, and in the current absence of your original email account, that would make it easier for them to be in touch with you to resolve your account migration issues.
 
You are already up to 3 now - keep on typing..... :)

Why not go to the email account and use the "I forgot my password" option to reset your password?  This has always worked for me to access my Junk email account when I forgot my password.  Just a thought

I think if you can provide the Cakewalk support folks the old email, as well as your name info and the serial number of something of theirs that you purchased that was associated with the old email - that they might well be able to piece your purchase history together, and get you squared away under the new email.
 
You are up to 17 posts - I think maybe 3 more gets you to the private message functionality starting to work for you.
 
I'll actually try sending you one, to see if the number might be 15 needed, rather than 20 (I might be wrong, but I've been wrong before)....

PM is not necessary. The last section of the link I posted above details how to contact Cakewalk to resolve this using the normal account support process.
