Greetings all. I was inspired by the latest Distant Towers track to write something pop-y as an homage to their unique sound and style. But, of course, it's their type of track if it went through the Factory Yoyo grinder and was extruded out a somewhat sleazy pop tune. A fairly quick one for me. As I get older, it takes longer and longer to push these puppies across the finish line. Clip Job Yoyo

Hello James, I hope you are doing well?
I enjoyed hearing this one very much. It has an 80's kinda vibe to it in my opinion. It reminded me of movie opening songs "WHICH I LIKE TO HEAR". I couldn't help but think of some 80's movies listening to this. Probably wasn't your intention, but it takes a heck of a lot of talent to orchestrate something this good.
Thanks for sharing! I'm no critic or master mixer so the mix sounded perfect to me, although it would be nice to hear some screaming guitar lead in there every now and then.

Really well done track, and the mix is fantastic. I, personally, would have pushed the kick up a hair, but there is so much delicious stuff in the mix that I really don't care, lol.

Nice... It does have a DT vibe, particularly the vocals. And maybe just a touch of Daryl too. Cool piece of off-kilter pop rock, and the mix is really good.

that sometimes get to sounding very modern.

don't know if i totally dig the vocal effect,
sometimes it makes it hard to make the word out,

Just great! I agree about an 80's movie theme. Make that I "totally" agree!
But it also stands on its own as off-kilter pop, which is a great way to describe it. Absolutely spectacular mix and ear candy for days!
By way of a thought, the lower end seems just, and only just, a tad thinner than the sparkly stuff. But for me I'd boost the bass, and I'd probably leave the kick where it is, because I like bass more than I like kick drum :)
