can Sonar record a soft synth that produces sound without MIDI input? Specifically XILS VC3 or Madrona Labs Aalto.

    You can record hardware synths the same as any other audio.

    StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
