What does Progression 3 have that Notion 6 doesn't?

After the release of S1 3.5, I realized that Notion 6 is $50 for S1 3 Pro users; and with the enhanced integration, Notion 6 would be a nicety to have even if not fully used.

What then tripped me up is that Progression 3 popped up while searching, and AFAICT Progression 3 is a lesser product, but is still sold. Since it is almost impossible to find this info, can someone quickly explain what Progression 3 has that Notion 6 doesn't?

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

Primarily guitar oriented IIRC. Got both but only use Notion.

Thanks guys. Yeah, that link is the same one that made me ask the OP. Even its own marketting page points out that Notion does more, so it made me wonder what Progression 3 does that Notion cannot.

Based on what little I could find, it seems Progression is more geared to guitarists and has a different sample set to accommodate that (the samples seem the only real difference I could find... seems Notion can do everything else). Price point may also be a factor, since "on paper" Progression is cheaper than Notion without another upgrade path. Pretty much every comment i have found of folks with both said exactly what Fleer did above.

I guess the bottom line is "Meh, if I never saw it, I cannot miss it."

Progression is a less expensive version of Notion.

Notion does everything Progression does + more.
