Crash When Sidechaining With Plug-In Load Balancing

I am having problems with sidechaining.  I've tried sends to two different compressors (Softube FET Compressor and the LP MB).  Both set ups will lock up Sonar.  This is with plug-in load balancing turned on.  I discovered that if I turn it off, it works fine.  Any ideas?

I have the latest version of Sonar Platinum.  System is Windows 10 64-bit with all the latest updates.

Thanks,

You might want to try unchecking the 64-bit Double Precision Engine checkbox in Preferences if you haven't already.

I don't know that it will solve your problem, but it's something to try.

That was/is also unchecked.  Had done so a long time ago, due to some forgotten problem related to that.  Thanks, regardless.

Have you tried it in a new project with a minimum number of tracks to see if the problem is project specific? You could also try using an aux track instead of a bus or vice-versa.

Do you know if the crash is within SONAR or the plugin? Normally the crash dialog will indicate where it crashed...
Some plugin's can be unstable with plugin load balancing if they don't handle multi-processing well.
If you can make a repro project that crashes we can take a look.
