Sweet, would I be mistaken in saying I hear some Camel influences in this very nicely done.

Thanks for your comment! I just looked up Camel on YouTube (Mystic Queen)... well yeah, one could find similarities, but I've never owned a record by them. (I smoke a different brand of cigarettes b.t.w... but that shouldn't have any influence, I guess ;) Cheers,

Probably only me, but the beginning reminded me a bit of Robert Fripp (Evening Star?) I listened to this a few times, liking it more each time. Great performance!

Nothing to add that hasn't already been said. I do like the tone of the guitar though, very nice.

Hi and thank you all for your feedback! Dan, Thanks! I've tried to make some time for practicing (...it's never too late), and get as much as possible right in the recording phase. The title of the tune was my deadline to finish the mix. Beagle, Thank you ! ...glad you liked it! For the Rhodes I used the EZ Keys E-Piano, actually just typing in the single chords at the downbeats and accents before recording any guitars as a reference for intonation. The little licks and runs I played as overdubs. In the middle bit I doubled the part with my all time favorite Lounge Lizard. Tom, Thanks a lot! yeah, some guitar licks just fall out the fingers without thinking and some really need practice. I think non-repetitive improvisation is one of the hardest tasks in guitar playing. ...There is still a lot to learn for me. B.t.w., the guitar amps are all S-Gear by Scruffham Amps... (impulse respond speaker sim makes a difference. Next best to a real miced (miked ..?) cabinet i.m.o.) Bjorn, Thank you for taking the time to listen, and the compliment! I just looked up "Evening Star" by Robert Fripp and found it on soundcloud. The intro has kind of the same ambience, indeed. : ) ...I've never heard that tune before, though. Phil, Thank you so much for the compliment! daryl, Thank you very much! It is highly appreciated : ) Schafe, Thank you ! This is very encouraging : ) biodiode, Thnx! ...since this is the only guitar I'm playing, I keep trying to squeeze the best out of it that I am able to : ) Once again, thank you very much gentlemen, for all that positive feedback ! You gave me hope! Best regards, Daniel

Wow, that was really nice - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything just sits so well in the context of the arrangement and mix. And those guitar lines are just so nice, fluid and well phrased. Loved the transition around 2:30. Oh, and S-Gear sounds pretty good too.

Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it! : ) ...Since I'm not the super guitar shredding wizard, I'm trying to find some interesting melodies to compensate for that. Cheers, Daniel
