Overall, the song is good and the recording has a very garage-band feel. If that was your intent, it came across quite well. The mix could use a little more polish, and at a minimum I'd suggest bringing in a bit more low end on the kick and bass, but it is listenable as it is.

I was actually blinded in the lowend I'm currently using a computer speaker so I pretty much just cut all the lowend that I can't correctly hear to curve, I decided that it's better that way than to let some frequencies loose that might potentially make the mix more muddy. As for the garage-band feel, it's just my lack of eq skills, I only mixed 5 song yet since I started. Do you think M Audio AV42 is a good first monitor? Or at least a replacement for my computer speaker? I saw one on sale just today. Thank you so much for the feedback I really appreciate it.

Everyone has their own opinion of monitors and, truthfully, you will need to "learn" whatever monitors you end up with before will be able to create translatable mixes. The most important thing, to me, is that the monitors don't lie to you. I would highly recommend listening to monitors before buying them, even if that means you'll need to take a day trip to a town with a decent retailer.

As noted the mix needs addressing as it is what one might call a little thin.  Thanks for sharing, keep at you will get there in the end we all started somewhere.

Sounds pretty good for only your fifth mix!    Yeah, it's a little thin, but knowing your playback system is so important for that aspect.    Mix aside, my only critique would be the breakdown section with only the guitar - it seemed a bit long for what it is.   Otherwise I liked the song.

Yeah I do understand the long guitar part, I was trying to pull off some GnR's Night Train ending but I didn't really study the song, I just thought it must be long and slowly fading, I definitely didn't give athought on how it should fit song. (Guitarist mental issues when writing solo parts, sometimes I forgot to slow down and think that the guitar solo is not the song itself). Thank you so much for the input, you point out something that I didn't knew I'm taking for granted.
