Violin Concerto, 3rd movement

This is a piece for solo violin (Karen Bentley, violin) and virtual orchestra. This was produced in 1996, so don't expect the VIs to sound nearly as good as they do today. All in all, I am happy with both the composition and the recording, and Karen did a fantastic job.  Produced in Sonar!

Yes, age does not help with the VIs but this has been nicely put together and the orchestral programming is top notch.

You started your post saying : "This is a piece for solo violin" so I am assuming that you wrote the music that was played by : "Karen Bentley, violin"?

WOW!!!! You and her both are very gifted artist!!!! When I listen to music like this, which I call mood altering music, or that is an expression of how one feels through music which is something very few people can do. I think of scenes and situations and such things, or ACTS as to what the story of the music is trying to tell.

With this music, I thought it was GREAT! Although, if it were me, NOT CRITICIZING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS! But I do have ears and can listen, so what I would do is take the deep dark sounding sections a bit further and make take it to the limit of however far you can go, because after all, that is what entertainment is ya know, THE CIRCUS or showing or amazing people in a spectacular way.

I really enjoyed hearing this, and please don't take my opinions as something bad, that is not my intentions at all!!! I'm just telling you my thoughts and what I hear and trying to offer help on improvements.

This reminds me listening to it as some sort of "FIGHT" like between the DEVIL & an ANGEL or a fighting dance.

Oh well, sorry if my opinions offend, I apologize in advance. This is some great sounding music!!!

    Thanks for sharing!!!!
