In "Gain/Clip Gain" deleting all envelopes simultaneously

Hi everyone, Is there any way to delete all the envelopes at once that are on different clips in a Track under the "Gain/Clip Gain". I've highlighted the whole track, then right clicked and pressed Delete Envelope, but only the clip that my mouse was on had the envelope removed.  This is frustrating!  I've been having to delete each envelope on each clip one by one and when there are a lot of clips on a track-well, you get the idea. #$%^& Thanks!

You can't delete all the clip envelopes, but you can negate their effect.

    1. Select all the clips.
    2. Drag one envelope and the others will follow. Drag so all the envelopes are at the top of the clips.
    3. Click outside the clip and re-select all clips.
    4. Drag the envelopes down to 0 dB gain.

Now all your clip envelopes will have no effect on the clip gain.

I wonder if bouncing all clips to one clip and then deleteing the envelope would work?

Thanks. I realize that it can be done that way, but I was just curious if the automation could be completely removed from all the clips at once

It seems removing all effects of the automation would give the same result as removing the automation itself, but if you want no evidence that the automation ever existed, the answer is yes and no. After zeroing all the clip automation, you can bounce the clips to themselves to eliminate the clip automation. However if you select all of them, they'll turn into one clip when bounced. If you want to retain the individual clip identities, you would need to bounce each clip individually. This could be a hassle if you have a lot of clips, but if you have only a few clips, you can drag them to temporary tracks, select them all, bounce, then drag the clips back into the original track. Clips on different tracks can be selected and bounced without joining them together.

Yes, but then the clips would incorporate any of the automation changes. I'm assuming that since the OP wants to remove the envelopes, he doesn't want any of the effects of automation to be incorporated in the clips.

Ahhh yes. I didn't realize that bouncing would apply the existing envelopes.
