track moving with reverb ?

Sonar plat. I have a reverb(in effects bin) on my snare track..when i turn off the reverb the snare hit moves..completely out of place..when i turn reverb back on snare hits go back to their correct placement in song....what am i doing wrong or is it a glitch ?

    Sounds like it's an impulse based reverb, those introduce latency. You may need to stop playback and start again. Everything should line up again then.

    First. I would never put reverb in a bin, I only put things like Compressors there. 
    So try putting the reverb on a buss and using the effects send instead. 
    If the snare is out of time this will be obvious when you zoom in on the wave form..Move it where it belongs.

    There is certainly nothing wrong with using a reverb in an FX bin though. If it is only to be applied to one track it is a good way to do it.

    Yes its only on the snare track..i have no reverb on the drum bus just eq and comp..im still confused as to why this is happening..bug in software ? Ill try the stop playback trick see if it still happens

    Have you tried a different reverb?
