Coolest metal instrument: the cello?
Wonder Woman's theme (Hans Zimmer, natch)...I haven't seen the movie yet, waiting for my granddaughter's birthday as an excuse. But after hearing this, I'd go just for the music.

I discovered Tina a couple of weeks ago from this vid of her with Joe Bonamassa that popped up on FB, amazing player, and gets very...intense...

I seem to remember reading that Tony Iommi was trying to evoke something like a cello with his guitar on many of those classic Sabbath riffs.
At any rate, it's always been one of my favorite instruments.

For contrast..."cellist's nightmare". Guy eats a banana while playing the repetitive cello line from Pachelbel's Cannon (one of the greatest compositions of all time, IMO).
Same guy having some cello (celli?) fun...
And a fellow SONAR user many of you know...

I think Apocalyptica was perhaps the first(?) all-cello heavy rock group.
Their first album covering Metallica was some kind of a small hit.
Later they added a drummer and a singer.
Yes. Cello is a brilliant instrument for rock.

I wonder if we would watch this if it were just an old ugly dog! The music is fine, but the choreography is actually not very good and over done, and the timing is not always right.
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Hi,
Esperanto Rock Orchestra ... used a lot of cellos, and their 3rd album has a great version of Eleanor Rigby with it.
Early ELO with Roy Wood, a lot of which was kinda taken out when he left the band, but his solo's are crazy with cellos, and I recommend them, though they can be unusual. Mustard is excellent, as is Eddie and the Falcons.
French band Wapassou also had cellos.
Right off the bat those are the ones I can think of.

'We'? You can speak for yourself Pedro, especially if you're going to use that derogatory term for women. I'd listen and watch regardless of what the player looks like, it's a superb piece of music, and she's a gifted musician. Please don't judge the rest of us by your own low standards.
