Random peak on VSTi track

Hey there.

Just a report, not a big issue, but a consistent one nonetheless.

I have a track with the AIR instrument 'Transfuser' in it, and its left channel randomly peaks at odd times. It usually happens after 8-12 of playback at random intervals. Once it does, it peaks way off limits, and SONAR shut the master left channel off (I am assuming, since it stops outputting sound, and I can hear a pop). After it happens, I have to close the project and open it again.
I deleted the track and created a new one, and the problem persists. I checked the events list, tried added all notes off and all controllers off midi messages to it, but it didn't solve it. Since I am unable to replicate the problem at my whim, I can not post steps to getting to it.

I am aware it might be a problem with the plugin as well, but I thought I'd let you guys know, just in case similar problems are happening with other users on Sonar.

Thank you.

Now it has really become persistent. Anyone with a similar problem or possible work around?

If 64 bit DPE is enabled, disable it and test the plug-in again.

The DPE setting is located in

Preferences>Audio>Driver Settings>64 bit Double Precision Engine

    Thanks Klaus.

I keep the DPE disabled. Should I try enabling it?

    Thank you.

    I don't think so.

If the problem you have persists when DPE is disabled, it's most probably not the cause of your problem.

Unfortunately, I'm running out of ideas here  (and I don't own the mentioned plug-in).

I've also had the same problem with the Riser2 plug-in, which is from the same manufacturer.

I am also without a clue as to what could be causing this.
