Very nice... It sort of sounds like the beginning of summer to me, so I think you've hit the mark. Loved the lead guitar lines - smooth but with just enough aggressiveness. As with other tracks, I also get a little bit of that Satch thing.

I liked the laid back opening to this track and the guitar tone is very nice, really nicely recorded. To my ears there are moments when the kick drum sounds a little too upfront in relation to the guitar but that is just my ears. Loved the track, great stuff.

Daniel, Very enjoyable listen. Great tune and playing. The drums might be a little pointy during the more laid back sections but not too distracting. The kick imparticular but the toms to some extent during the quieter parts. When the song picks up they are fine as is. That said, really like this track and the one that popped up after it, "Last May Day". Good stuff.

SteveC, thanks ! Yeah I hope it's gonna be good summer for all of us ...probably one or the other thunderstorm included... ...that Satch thing... m a y b e the tone at some points, but i just don't get my head around all those arpeggio, sweeping, speed picking, dive bomb technics. I'm just going for some melodies. biodiode, thanks a lot! Glad you like the track! I guess you're right about the Kick. I think I've tried to make it cut through the mix where it was already present enough. markno999, Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the listen! (and the one after : ) Yeah, I was a little hasty with the drum mix, but I was just to eager to post this tune on time according to it's title. Thank you once again, gentlemen, for listening and your very helpful feedback! Best regards, Daniel

Nice track some cool guitar tones, yes the kick needs a little riding in place but you know that, thanks for sharing, it does herald summer well.

Sixfinger, nice of you to come back to listen to the track. Thanks a lot for your feedback! Dave, Thank you, glad you liked it! ...Satch plays in another league though, way out of my range. SiTheMon, Thanks, glad you enjoyed the tune! I think in instrumental tunes the arrangement is most important, plus I really have fun with that task : ) Dan, Thanks for the compliment! It means a lot to me! Wookiee, Thank you very much! ...yeah, some fine tweaking on the kick will be done. And maybe a different set of toms ... Thank you once again, Gentlemen, for listening and commenting. I really appreciate it. P.S. please take my apologies for responding so late.

I wouldn't worry about being a minute late. The Solstice lasts for three days. Plenty of time! Hugely enjoyed your Solstice piece. Very evocative of the occasion - powerful celebration of the Sun at its majestic peak and just a touch of melancholy at this turning point to the dark of winter. Your guitar work is exemplary and your composition and orchestration enviable. Loved it.

Tasty -- i like the way you use patience before getting to the heavier guitar parts. I especially like the section getting into the 2:45 mark. Well put-together and nicely executed.
