Bounce Tracks Not Producing Audio Files
When I select my tracks as I have done for many years and choose to bounce them to a track the process completes but produces wav files in the new track that are not playable. At that point no audio can be heard. Meters are active but no sound. If I reboot Sonar, everthing is back to normal but of course the track that was produced is still non playable. Suggestions.

Make sure the output of the audio track(s) not being heard are pointed to the same place other audio tracks (that can be heard) are pointed.

OK for I found where the issue is. It seems if I use fast bounce the problem exists. If I do not use fast bounce all seems fine. Never had this problem before. Curious as to what may have changed. Tough not having fast bounce available. Any help appreciated Bakers.

Please define "not playable." Bouncing works fine here. Are you using Fast Bounce or Real Time?

Fast bounce does not seem to work. Real time solved the problem. All parameters are set the same, 64bit on, no dithering, see screen shot. Also notice that the track produced is a flat line. No wav file produced. What I meant by not playable is that none of the tracks will play from Sonar after the bounce is performed. It's as if Sonar is trying to play the tracks, (meters moving etc.) but no sound is coming out of Sonar's primary Main bus.

So the meters are active but no sound yes? Double check that the output of the bounced track is pointed to the master bus. Check that the clip or track isn't muted and that the track fader isn't at -INF

Thanks for the suggestion but all mentioned are as they should be. Something causes a major change to happen when I use the fast bounce feature.

Any FX involved? There are many VSTs that don't support Fast Bounce.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

It would be wise to list exactly how you are bouncing the file and what settings you are using when you bounce, as this will let everyone know what you are doing wrong

New developments. It seems that PI from SoundRadix, fast bounce, and plugin up-sampling do not play well together. All issues seem to be resolved if I do not use one or the other. I can use SoundRadix PI and fast bounce together without up up-sampling successfully, or SoundRadix PI and up-sampling without fast bounce successfully. I just cannot use them all together. Sounds like it could be a SoundRadix PI issue. Also, I just got an error to occur and crash PI while doing further testing that I sent when Sonar crashed to the Bakers and PI. The error as Exception code: c0000005 Address: 00007FFEBC02F8D9:00000000F777D010:00000000000000065
